In my existing 2-way tl loudspeaker I use a 1st order filter. Because of the amplifier (audiolab 8000s) I want the midfrequenties accentuated a little more and some less highs, but without losing to much transparancy.
Is there a way to predict the result? What will happen if I make the cut-off point for the tweeter higher by changing the capacitor, for example? Or the same for the midbass driver by changing the inductor?
Or are these questions silly? Is the only way trying?
