HI
I'm about to buy a quad set of 15" woofer and the Celestion FTR15-4080F appeal to me.
They have 4" voice coil, T&S parameter that suit my need
Celestion FTR15-4080F - 600W Ferrite 15 inch Woofer
I already use Fane 15XS in a similar project and love them very much but they are more than twice the price of the celestion and in this project, I do not need that much XMax (12mm)...
My alternative to the celestion are the Fane 15-600N
They are about the same price (currently on sale)
only 3" coil but on a neo magnet and visually match the 15XS basket
Both model offer about 6mm of Xmax and it is plenty.
Anybody used those woofer?
I'm really unsure of which one to buy...
Thanks

QSC uses Celestion, B&C and Eminence in their products. So it's possible to get an idea of the performance by looking up the speakers they produce that use that part. For instance, here's a Celestion 15" from one of their speakers:

Thanks Patrick
After a bit of thinking, I've decided to order the Fane 15-600N
Measurement to come eventually on my blog.

They have used many other manufacturers products too, like Selenium and others. The QSC series seems to use Celestion only and it seems they mostly switched to them in most speakers.
