Hi chaps,
I'm running a tda1541 cdp with modified output stage (bypassed last opamp = better sound but less output) > diy integrated tube amp. I would like to add active powered subs and the idea of adding a high-pass filter in front of the tube amp appeals to me (the amp is lowish on power for my current speakers)...
Hence: would you think that the CDP has sufficient output voltage to connect it directly to a cheap active crossover (used Behringer CX2310 is in my price-league) that passes on the 'low' signal to the sub amps and the 'high' signal to the integrated tube amp?
Thanks for any advice!!
Simon
