CDB630 clock mod

Hi All,
I'm looking for recommendations for a replacement of the crystal used in the system clock. I want to change to a 74HC4040 and a high performance ultra stable clock module/oscillator. Anyone try something that has worked???

I guess I should make this clearer. What would outperform the stock crystal and 74HC4040, without breaking the bank? Ray's Flea (reg section) driving his clock? I also plan to tap off the PS pre regs and add gyrator to whatever reg I end up with.

Firstly I would suggest getting all the parameters for the current clock, jitter figures etc then you will have something to use as a basic, then you can do the same with the clock mod and probably find there is a good chance its worse than leaving the clock alone.
