CD Pro Drive

Can any one give me information on how to control the CD-Pro drive.
A friend of mine bought one with necessary surrounding components but he wants to attach his own LCD display.
So he needs to write his own sw which now is in an eprom.

I was under the impression tha daisy-laser will only sell the CD-PRO and CD-PRO2 kits to individuals. If anyone has found that the SACD or DVD kits are available, please let me know!

Has anyone looked into their SACD kit yet?

They don't reply to email. Better to but a Sony cheap and modify.
