I'm working on a CD-104 that doesn't want to play discs.
I did the griplet work and now I'm changing out elco's.
Problem with the PSU board is that traces are lifting up were the solderjoints of the elco's are.
I can fix that but I was thinking on making a new PCB for the PSU.
I can make a copy of the existing one but since technology has advanced over the last 40 years I was wondering if you guys could give some pointers to make it even better.
Maybe other regulators, capacitors, smd components.
I love to hear your ideas.
