Not desperate, but would really appreciate getting hold of a schematic in any form of the Cary 308 or 308T. Or even if anyone has mapped the schem of the tube stage of the 308T or 306T. Any help appreciated, and reciprocated if possible.
If you ever find a source Stephen let me know. I've been looking for a CD-303/200 for ever.
Cary are tighter than a fishes ar***ole with giving them out or even if you offer to purchase.

My concern is mainly about seeing if I can do away with the coupling cap between the output of the irritatingly epoxy modularised dac block and the tube stage(308T bypasses the opamp LPF). Whoever designed the module took what are allegedly PCM1704 dacs, which of course run -/+5v rails and *bizarrely* used an opamp i/v with *single ended 5V* supply(meaning probably some horrid cmos opamp that looked good on paper), so the module's output pins are at +2.5VDC. Hoping I can find at least the tube schem, so I don't have to map it myself, so I can see if I can bias the tube to be ok with that offset voltage at input. Trouble with coupling caps, other than the obvious point that it's best to delete them when possible, is that there's no room for large enough caps of any kind of great quality, hence the horribly crappy 15uf mkt wima's it comes with.
