Cary AE-1 info?

I have a chance to purchase what is left of an AE-1 for small money. The kick is its been completely gutted so therefore I am going to pose the question.

Does anyone have a copy of the Cary AE-1 schematic? Full schematic? I would like to purchase what is left of this and put it back into original working order. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Burnedfingers, send me a PM with your email address. I'll send you a scan privately. I don't think I'm authorized to publicize it openly.

The topology of the AE-3 is a 6SN7 common cathode gain stage AC coupled to a 6SN7 cathode follower, AC coupled to the output. Mine uses solid state rectification, although there was an upgrade option for a 9 pin tube rectifier.

Anyone know what size the power supply choke is on the AE-3?

The AE-3 from what I have read is a much better line stage than the AE-1. Its basically the same as Frank's 6sn7 line stage with the exception of slightly different voltages and resistor values.

It can't be that large, because it fits under the chassis, and the chassis is probably only about 1.5 inches high. I bet it's about 1, or maybe 1.5 Henry. I'll pull the bottom off of mine and look this weekend. It may not be marked though.

The only markings on the choke are CT3 989 0435

Physical dimensions of the choke are (about) 2" mounting centers, 1" high, 1.3" wide.
