Carpower 1/1000D repair output HIP4080

Hello

I'm repairing the output circuit. I have replaced the HIP4080 and mosfet´s with IRF3710, but these are getting very hot bit soon after the amplifier is running. What can be happening?

Did you use the IRF3710 or the IRF3710Z? The non-Z version often won't work.

I checked the diode DZ2 and it is correct. I have used the IRF3710PBF, they are not IRF3710ZPBF.
I also replaced with IRF1310 and burned them all again.
I will look for the 3710Z and try again.

I'd recommend replacing the 4080 as well. There is a high failure rate when the outputs fail.

Are the Z FETs not available?

The only other reliable FET that I found was the IRF3415. I didn't use nearly as many as I have of the 3710Z so I can't say that they're as reliable.

I had the IRF3710 (not Z) installed, but got hot, I tried a set of IRF3415.
I started the amplifier, and burned a whole side ....

I used the 3415s quite a bit before I found the Z-version of the 3710. If you have to order the 3710Z, order from a seller that the manufacturer lists as an authorized distributor.
