What are the voltage levels recommended for this circuit?

It's a circuit made for single supply PSU (about +40V). With Rd=75R it allows only for 100-200mV (depending of JFET's Idss) of very distorted output voltage swing.
Look for JFET BOZ preamp in Pass Labs section - it's a same concept but it works significantly better.
