Car Stereo Qeustion

hey this may not be the brightest spark around but i appreciate all the help...

i have a 4x45W car stereo with cd player.. common sense tells me i can run 4 speakers each with power rating 45W, but what kind of subwoofer can i run from it?

anything special about running a subwoofer off this kind of player?

Most likely your headunit internal amplifier is only about 15-25 watts per channel. You really can't run a sub from your headunit, you would want to get amplifier, something not expensive like us accoustics would work fine (usx2100).

any suggestions on brands? i heard kenwood is pretty good and despite being expensive, sony is pretty dodgy... i think i need help... 😕
