I am running my Zune into the my Camry OEM radio. The volume is always too low even with the Zune all the way up. Anyone have an idea for a small signal booster amp to put in between the Zune and the car radio.
Thanks

You may have something set incorrectly on the zune. Are there any settings in an audio menu, such as volume limiting? My zen has that although its obviously totally different than your zune. The headphone output jack on it has more than enough to drive the camry's input. I've installed satellite in several of those new camry/ies and they all had good signal level that matched the deck's radio level. And the xm units usually have a crappy low level preamp output.
I checked and the Zune does not have a software defeatable limit on the output. So I do need some sort of pre for it.
Building a preamp is simple but doing so without creating ground loops takes more effort.
You should try your Zune in a different vehicle (another Camry/Toyota with the same head unit) to see if it works as it should.

How are you going into the factory system, FM converter?
There is a 3.5mm headphone aux jack in the pocket below the oem radio, very convenient.
