Capacitor Silkscreen Meaning

I'm so not understanding the part value of the caps on this partial schematic, can I get some help in trying to identify them in a more logical system. What does 101p means in essence to 104p, more so, could I get the values in nano or micro farad. the "p" is frustrating me in regards to the usual letters as in "J" or "K" that I'm more used to. I know the p means picofarad but I'm more used to 104 as 100nf. please explain.

In this case I would assume "p" would indicate -0/+100% tolerance.

104P is 10000 picoFarads or .01uF, 102 would be 100pF from what I recall. First two digits are the value and the third is the number of the x10 multiplier. 473 would be 4.7 x1000pF. I might be off but someone will chime in.

As you suggest, someone needs to chime in: 101P (or 101p) is 10 plus one more zero making 100pF and 104P (or 104p) is 10 plus 4 more zeros making 100nF.
I suppose 101N is also 100nF but I have not seen this used.

I agree, picoFarads. I can't remember ever seeing the tolerance in the silkscreen.

That makes more logical sense. Then values should be something like 104p = .1uf, 101p = 100pf, and 471p = 470pf, I believe.

No. 104p = 100n. .1u is too easily confused with 1u so the convention stays with nano farads
