Two ways:

(1) You can set up an online storing system, like Flikr. This is free. I use Photobucket, no reason really. This has the advantage that the pictures are much larger and appear within the text. Use the IMG function. The dissadvantage of this is that if the photo host goes out of business in the future, the files/links are then lost and the thread will not be able to display them. Less benefitial for the archive. Like this:

(2a) If you want it stored on the DIYAUDIO website permanently using the "Attach File" function, it needs to be a fairly small file (max size 102400 bytes). It is not easy to reduce photos (for me) so I go into "my pictures" select a photo, and select "email this file". It then asks me whether I want to reduce the photo for emailing. Click "Yes", and then take the smaller file off the created email, and then delete the email message. It is a bit long winded, but simple for a technophobe like me.

(2b) Or, you can use photo files direct from your camera using the VGA(Email) file capture size setting on your camera.

(2c) Or, you can reduce the files in Paint, or a similar program, as the previous poster suggested.
