Cambridge Audio A5 repair help

Hello,

My cambridge audio a5 was hooked up to some dodgy speakers with a measured impedance of only 3.2 ohms and turned up too loud and now it won't power on. I just presumed they were 8 ohms.

I've opened it up and checked all the fuses and they're fine. There are no visibly damaged components.

Does anyone know where I should start looking to fix it and how I can check the power transistors?

I've emailed cambridge audio but they're not too keen on thier customers trying to service amps themselves for obvious reasons.

Thanks in advance, any help greatly appreciated
