I swapped the standard bridges to Vishay (formerly International Rectifier) HFA08TB60 diodes mounted as bridge in my dual mono hybrid tube-fet amp. I want to exchange the diodes for an other type, bass is to coloured and muddy to my taste, wich was not the case with the standard 30A bridge rectifiers
I am thinking of (Philips) BYV79E100 to 200. Selected it because low uF of 0,9V and high IF 15A.
Anybode know this diode as rectifier?
Sound?
other diodes?
Thanks.

Yes.
But you may not need the '79. The '32 has Icont of 10A per side, and peak of 110A. You are rewarded with a better tns.

Is there also a single diode version available?
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
