Bypass input stage on 300b amp

It could be possible totally bypass the input stage in the famous Sun Audio 300be?
I use it with Headphones( Ergo AMT) and I would like to reduce at real minimum the noise.
I use source with low impedance output.

Is possible also try different Tubes on the sun audio 300be?
I know many try to transform 300be in 2a3 version.
It could be possible the reverse?

300B 5V filament @ 1.2A; 2A3 2.5V filament @ 2.5A
300B often used at 300V to 400V plate to filament; often 2.5k to 5k primary load.
2A3 often used at 250 or 300V plate to filament; often 2.5k to 3k primary load.
300B bias often 60 to 80V or more, 50 to 80mA plate.
2A3 bias often 43 to 50V, 50mA to 60mA plate.

To change a 2A3 amp to a 300B amp, or a 300B amp to a 2A3 amp takes a lot of changes, especially if you want to have a good design.

And then, additionally you are wanting to change the gain, to use with headphones.

Better use DC on the 2A3 and 300B filaments, or you will not like the hum you hear in most headphones.

This is not a case of Plug and Play, it is a case of Plug and Pray (unless you make all the necessary changes).

I would try removing the capacitor connected to pin 6 and pin 3 of the the 6SN7 first. That should reduce the gain by some. This amp is a front end direct couple design. This mean you can't just use a jumper wire to bypass one stage of the input. You will need to redesign the front end.
