Why would you

Why would you buy that it is probably made for overhead projectors and will last you about 100 hours brand new or even if you didn't buy it and had it laying around it could only give you around 3,000-8,000 lumens. Metal Halides lasts you a 100X longer and put out around 30,000-150,000 lumens(correct me if Im wrong). Not to put you down but using this for DIY Projection would really serve no purpose it will have less lumens less life and cost around $40.00 to replace. Metal Halides last longer put out an extreme amount of lumens and cost around $20.00 to replace. Your better off with MH but explain to us what you were planning on using it for.

Good luck on what ever you doing.

MH

Yes I was expecting such type of information thats why I have also collect osram 250w double ended MH with ballast ignitor and capacitor. Of course its all for DIY LCD projection.
I think 250w should be enough.....Is it?
One thing that the MH may be used.......... well I guess.

another thing that here is a lens arransement with something surely different. See the attachment and comment.

Of course with its Focal lengths measurement it is a four piece photographic lense 55m

Lense diagram l)>)>)>) = l)))) = 3" FL

Is it work?
