Building an Aleph 3. Should I bypass the feedback capacitor?

Hi All,

I'm just wondering if it would be a good idea to bypass the 220uF feedback electrolytic with a 22uF electro and 1-2uF film cap. Would there be any advantage to doing so?

Additionally, what are the pros and cons of using a larger or smaller feedback cap value? Would using a 470uF cap improve the bass response? Interested to hear your thoughts.

Regards,

Greg.

Usually, two smaller electrolytics in parallel is better than one bigger, becouse of parasitic effects. If the electrolytics are not Black Gates, decent polypropilene film shunt for them could be 1 ... 10 uF. 10uF is better than 1uF, but hardly practical because of size.
