I am having a hard time finding a couple PCB's to build a PS for a DAC. The DAC takes +/-15V 1A (analog) and +/-8V 1A (digital.)
Originally I was going to go with four LM317 Steps board but I have heard that the LM317 isn't so good for digital.
I would prefer to buy a PCB to stuff. I am not looking for the ultimate powersupply but would like one that gets the job done nicely.
The DAC has its own internal regulation (LM340T-5 and LM7805 for digital) , what I am building is just a replacement to the external SMPS which is dead..
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I think that the internal regulation would be the main limiting factor here.
I wouldn't worry about the using the LM317.
Why not use LM317 (+) and LM337 (-) together?
