Is it possible to bridge two GC circuits - I'm thinking of bridging two LM3875 devices - is it possible, and how can it be done ?
Should it be driven by a balanced source ?
What would the power be - 150watts ?
Cheers !

App notes
Take a look at the National Overture app notes - it describes bridging and paralleling up to 200w.

do you have a link?

I believe they were referring to this application note:

or
Look at part 7.0 (pretty much the same as above) at this link:

Hope these help.

Just a note... i get 220W out of my bridged LM3886s.
Just bridged (2 devices), not bridged+parallel (4 devices).
I run them at +-40V and they are VERY will heatsinked.

thanks, just what i wanted 🙂
Which schematic are you supose to use? Or will any do?
Edit
Figure 17 looks ok. But i dont know which tree pins to use.
I guess that it will run fine with lm3875 too

Here's a thread right here on DIY Audio
How can people like Peter Daniel not be tempted to try a bridged
amp? They are in a position to see if there are sonic compromises.
