I have 2 vintage B5 yamaha amplifiers, 250WPC/8 ohm, 4-6 ohm stable,i want to run them in bridged mode for 8 ohm load hoping to get 500WPC/8 ohm each so then i would have 2 monoblocks 500 w each,. It doesnot have any selector switch/option to do so. Whats the simplest/safest way to do it .
I dont have jensen type phase splitters here, all the transformers available are high/speaker level to line/RCA level convertors with ressistive network.
Suggestions please

If i am not wrong would it make
1. Fully balanced from input to output (using both channels to drive one channel)
2. Improve SNR. CMRR and lower common noise.
3. Can i use a custom made matching output transformer ? 2:1 step down transformer so the amp still sees 8 0hm load ?
thx
