Bracing an enclosure

Anyone have any rule of thumb about how to properly brace a subwoofer enclosure?

FWIW

No unbraced panel area or brace over 16 inches in length.

Try not to brace at points/lines that'll divide sections into equal "lengths".

Shelf bracing can be useful. It braces along the panels and between them simultaneously.

I know this bracing may be off, it was done with scrap timber I found around work shop, I would have preffured shelf bracing that spanned between the walls, but it does look cool

Is that hardwood I can see? I have had my best bracing experiences with wood that is very dense.
