I'm making the box of this speaker with 15mm multilayerwood for Unique Back Loaded Horn + Bass Reflex Hybrid Enclosure with speaker FE126EN. I would like some advice whether to apply inside of the all walls, material sound-deadener (anti-noise) or leave the natural wood.
...Unique Back Loaded Horn + Bass Reflex Hybrid Enclosure...
Are you referring to the factory recommended enclosure?
If so i hope you have not yet cut or built it, as it is not very good at all. We burned the ones we built.
For FE126, Valiant or Austin A126 are best, Frugel-Horn Mk3 works also but is a bit more compromised.
Yes, the one on the Fostex website, I have cut and glued the various pieces, only one side is missing. Can i make some changes or is it really to be thrown away?

Not really fixable, but given the stage you are at, finish it and listen for yourself. You could play with stuffing the vent or even blocking it.

Yes, play with stuffing it, even a pair of wool socks can give an idea. Straws, open cel foam, poly stuff, fiberglass. Add enuff and you wil have effectively removed it.
The rest is really a badly designed TL.

Thanks, the pieces of wood had already been cut for a long time and in this period I decided to assemble it I will do some tests. A few years ago I made a box in DCAAV with FE127 and I am very satisfied, in the future I would like to build a better speaker, even with slightly larger speakers, do you have any plans?
I have also seen the Fonken and the box is not particularly complex, how does it sound?

FE127 had its problems, but we loved them. Fonken made them sound very good. Still have a pair (in Bamboo Plywood) and a pair of mFonken.
Scott & I have literally 100s of plans, many free, some cost a token. Chris built many of them so we could see how they work, let people listen to them, and in the end, oass them on cheap. Still have some to move out.
