Box for 10" ALpine
I just measured the inside of my enclosure. I have 9"Wide x14"Long x 6 3/4" Deep.It comes up to 0.4921875 Cubic Feet. My spec sheet for my sub shows three differant slopes.(ALPINE 10" 6106jx) Sealed enclosure.
BOX VOLUME ALIGNMENT Qtc SOUND
1.22 cf. Bessel 0.577 "Tight"
.70 cf. Buttersworth 0.707 "Neutral"
.31cf. Chebyshev 1.00 "Boomy"
Is the dimentions I have alright? Or should it be a bit wider? I like alot of base, but if its to much I can always lower the gain a bit.

That box size sounds a little on the small size?
Honestly, I don’t think that’s right, but without hearing it, I could be very wrong, and there are so many factors like your amp the location and the wadding or stuffing!
I would thing closer to 25 litres would be better, oh and is your box sealed or ported? My advice is just muck around with it and see what happens. If your still not happy, get another woofer

Just trying to get as much exposure!
I did make it 12" wide so now it's about 0.65625 cf. I will be adding some bracing and padding.
Thanks for the help and for another great car audio forum!!
