I have got and earlier answer, about howto use the balanced line stage unbalanced.
I am planning to short R14 at the -IN, so that the gate of the IRF610, would be grounded only through the R8 (221 ohm), but in the "manual", it says, that R14 and R13 is to serve as reference to ground for the input pins, in case of no source, or if source is AC-coupled, well that i do not understand, very well, but if i short R14, and use +IN, with an stereopot 10Kohm for left, and Right input, and then use the GND, and +out with an stereopot at 5Kohm, for volume, and leave the rest of the circut, as it is, i mean with all the components, will that be OK. ?

Hej, Jesper
I ended up connecting the ground terminal of the
input jack though to both the ground terminal
and the inv-input terminal of my selector switch.
The center pins of my RCA jacks all went to the
noninv-input, of course.
When my XLR connectors came, I didn't have to
worry about desoldering anything on the board to
start using both balanced and unbalanced gear
with my BOSOZ.
It turned out fine, although there is an odd effect
when I turn the volume (input-side due to high
total resistance) all the way down to zero. This
essentially shorts both inputs to each other and
ground. When I do this I get a low-freq
oscillation.
My work-around has been to just not do that. 🙂
(And I haven't turned the thing off in a few weeks now. )
