Simple question:
I will do some re-soldering on the 5K output P4 attenuator on my unbalanced Bosoz cause it makes a noise in the right channel when I turn it. I guess there is a bad connection on the attenuator prints.
I have also 10K pots at input P1 that can be used as volume control while I'm doing the attenuator repair.
I will now try to take out the P4 attenuator from the circuit.
My question is: Should I put a 5K resistor instead of the attenuator?

Oh yeah , if unbalanced Bosoz means unbal at the output then you don't need to replace the 5kpot as a fixed resistor.
If the output is balanced then, or pull out P3 and P4 together or
leave P3 as it is and replace P4 with a fixed resirtor. 😉
