i'm stuffing my BOSOZ boards, and wanted to make sure that
when attaching the mosfets to their heat sinks a mica insulator
should NOT be used? we want to keep the TO-220 case and the
heat sink electically live not isolated. right?
thanks in advance

I would just put the insulator on as the back side metal of the
mosfet is a conductor to the drain.

Hi Moe,
I did isolate the heatsink and the TO-220 case. I've tried to make a drawing of it. I aslo cut off the middle pin of the mosfet because it has no use on the PCB and can only function as an antenna.
Hopefully its clear enough.
