I'm looking for a book to gain knowledge on DAC from the reciever to the DAC chip, I have trouble with how to configure the reciever to match filter and then the DAC chip as well as reclocking. Are there any books on this subject? I'm an engineer but digital audio theory was not on of my electives.

Data sheets, and look at as many schematics as you can find. Getting harder with software configured filters and DAC's.
Yea, and those DSP guys make more than we do too. If we had only known.....

I can't intepret the Datasheets to ensure that the clock, data, etc is set to what the filter and then DAC wants to see. Especially the reciever datasheets, they are meant for a very broad audience.

Gone of the days of the "real" datasheets. Remember the ones National Semidistructor published? Single ended op-amp with designs for TTL/DTL level confuser? I wonder if I still have a copy. Maybe I should do a post next April on the best op-amp thread!

Do you have a particular example in mind ?
