I am waiting for a recent purchase off of ebay of a PP 807 Bogan Amp. Just wondering if anyone has any input as to the sonic quality I might expect. I am also looking for a schematic in which to bone up on before it arrives. Naturally I wish the purchase had been for two of these but I guess I can't complain about one amp shipped to my door for less than $100.00
I figure that worse case it can sit on my shelf until I find another one.
Frank...
Yes, I will draw out the schematic if I don't happen to find one.🙂

Hi Joe,
Well...looks like it....unless you can get a copy from Sams Photofacts perhaps.
Cheers,😉

If I recall correctly, Dave said he was including the Photofact schematic with it. (if not, ask around for Sams 84-5 - I have about 3,000, but not that one.)
I was watching this one, as I was an under-bidder at the PREVIOUS auction - at the spring Antique Wireless Association swap meet. Beautiful amp, though it showed a bit of rust on the transformer lams.

Thanks Tom I guess I didn't catch that in the description. Have you have a chance to listen to this amp?

No, I only know Dave from the Antique Radio message board. And from bidding against him....
The amp has a huge output transformer, though - should have pretty good bass. Should be from around 1950 from the Sams number.
