Has anyone tried one of these or similar to measure vibration? I want to try and measure turntable platter mat feedback and effectiveness (or otherwise) of TT weights/clamps and wonder if this would be sensitive enough to pick anything up?

I guess the above is not suitable for the purpose. What is there, if anything, that could be used for the task described. The measuring device would need to be on a rotating record, Anything wired would not be suitable. Thanks
To start with you can use Physics Toolbox Sensor Suite app with any phone that has gyroscope. Most of phones will work good, and even if system is not accurate in absolute terms, normally it is repeatable and sensitive, it will show you effects of changes you do, and that is the purpose, right?
I presume that you wouldn't need the turntable to be rotating, you would just need a way to cause repeatable vibration or knocks on whatever the record player is stood on. If it was very light weight you could use it on the headshell, like hi-fi world used to do. I think there was a tread on using a piezo sensor to pick up speaker cabinet vibration.
@Drbuji whilst the suggested app is very useful for other vibration measurements the problem is that I want to isolate and measure record vibrations on the record surface whilst rotating to measure the difference of mat msterisls etc as described in my OP. I can’t put a phone on the rotating record hence my question if a light Bluetooth accelerator sensor could do the job.
It could work but it would preclude any vibration from the running motorI presume that you wouldn't need the turntable to be rotating, you would just need a way to cause repeatable vibration or knocks on whatever the record player is stood on. If it was very light weight you could use it on the headshell, like hi-fi world used to do. I think there was a tread on using a piezo sensor to pick up speaker cabinet vibration.
