I've just bought a Blaupunkt Nurnberg off ebay (circa 1979) for my old Mercedes W115, it's arriving soon.
It's got a 6pin aux socket at the rear for line in. I want to use my ipod on this, so I need to make a cable. The seller will supply one but it's £19, and seeing as I paid £45 for the radio and it's not a top quality lead (which I'm scepical of anyway) I'm not prepared to pay that. And I can DIY...
So, does anyone know firstly where to get a 6 pin din socket, and secondly the pinout on 70s Blauunkts? There were quite a few with this socket so must've been pretty common. It was originally for an 8-track I think.
Thanks

Is it like this? This is pic off an old *amp* I have here. It is 7 pin though, but I thought they were all the same. Old DIN cables are out there cheap usually, just hack one off unless this is special.
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
