just got my sharp 1500 panel from ebay pluged it in and has a band of black horizontal lines running thru screen , im thinkin i got screwed , but has any one seen this and what it might be

if its plugges into your computer make sure ur pc is set to 640 x 480 cause thats what happened with my spectra c cause i had my pc in 800 x 600 when the panel can only go upto 640 x 480.
Make sure it's set at 640*480, 60hz. Most LCD projection panels won't sync properly at anything but 60hz. If you are still having problems you may have a faulty VGA cable. This isn't the end of the world, you can probably rig something up without too much difficulty.
still has lines even with no cables hooked too it so im not to sure
that this panel not a bum gonna try an rca signal to it tonight
thank for your help wondering if wrong power supply to sharp box had no power cord but looks like a computer plug will work could it be not the right power cord
