Bipolar capacitor question

Hi I'm building the Project 27 on the official boards and it requires two bipolar electrolytic capacitors. Can't I achieve this by connecting two elect caps in series with the positive ends tied together?

I need a 1 uf cap and a 2.2 uf cap. Both bipolar. What value elec caps do I need to use to make bioplar 1 uf and 2.2 uf caps? Thanks a lot.

Your better off trying to find actual bipolars. You can use 2 polars of equal value to make a bipolar by combining the cathodes together. Calculating series capacitance is the same as calculating parallel resistance as has been stated.
