So I’ve pulled out the amp of my f12. The fuse keeps blowing and I’d like to avoid spending more money...
So I have noticed that the connector has some solder splatter on it.
Initially to me it seems like this could be the cause but I’m puzzled how it got there and that it’s only happened now?

That didn't drop far, otherwise it would have splashed a much larger area and with a different pattern. It looks like it probably could be the soldering tin from the blade terminal connector of the wire if it was soldered instead of being crimped. If the contact resistance is too high because of lack of pressure and/or oxidation on the contact, the c.r. can develop quite a lot of heat, enough for it to melt the soldering tin. That could also have happened a bit above the board (still quite close), don't know what's above it. It does not come from the power supply board itself otherwise you would see scorchmarks there. You should check all cabling, connectors or other parts that can get hot.
Mmmm that makes sense. I like the idea of It overheating.
The sub worked all weekend none stop when we were moving.
I have okay soldering skills. Should I clean and resolder it? Or do you think something like this would likely cause issues down the circuit board?
