Hi all,
I'm new to this. I have a Jolida JD9. What's the best sounding direct replacement OPAs for the op amp OP 37 in the jolida? Will the OPA 627 or 637 be better? All suggestions will be welcomed.
Thanks.

You yave lot's of opamps which are quite nice. Check for noise less than 4 nV/Hz and a speed of > 10 V/us
Thanks for all the feedbacks. But is the 637 a direct replacement for the OP37, leads wise? Thanks.
Tho I can't say it's a direct replacement for your application, I would suggest taking a good look at Linear Technology's LT1028.
(the webpage shows it as a dual OP a DIP package ... but it is actually a single)
Input impedance and gain settings might be a limiting factor, depending on the design you're stuck with.
I haven't measured anything yet, but this chip sounds real good to my ears.
Low noise spec is outstanding. IIRC... it even beats the AD797.
OPA 627/37 are fine chips... but they aren't the one and only chips for all
things audio.
Your mileage may vary. Good luck.
Anyone else wanna chime in?
