Hi all
I have a Toyota Avensis from 2010 ( I believe it's known as T27 model?...) equiped with the builtin internal hard disk audio/GPS/Calendar/Blutooth/rear camera system along 11(!!!!) loudspeakers.
I thought I would have a great sound of it but I'm a bit desapointed:
It's a "closed" sound, the tweeters are inserted with the mid's on the corners, there a central (!?!?) loudspeaker (don't know why - that car doesn't have any otption for DVD player on the console - only on the back of the seats), TWO subwoofers on the front doors and 2 tweeter+bass set's on each back door.
The bass is really awufull - too round and flofy, the middle-highs are a bit covered. There is no EQ function on the system beside the High-Middle-Bass adjustment.
Anyone has this system and did any change on it? What can I do to improove it, beside covering the front door interiors with antireflective/antivibrating material to try to cut the bass?
Just very recently discovered that my front tweeter+middle set doesn't like very much bug choirs! It creates some kind of distortion like it was not well fixed to the dashboard. However with other kind of much, even heavy rock, it doesn't hapens.
Any suggestion appretiated 🙄
