Hello! I'm new at this foruns and I really hope I'm posting it in the right section. Firstly, I'm really sorry for not being fluent in english, so perhaps you'll find some errors in my posts, but, I swear, I'll do my best for you to understand what I'm asking here.
Well, I'm building an audio amplifier and I'm stumbled with a simple task:
It's a balanced amplifier but I want to have unbalanced RCA input as an option.
Internally I would have to connect the RCA plug with the XLR, but I have a problem, there's no space in the XLR solder contacts to appropriate solder both RCA and XLR cables together.
I thought about crimping both wiring ends together in the same faston connector (that's how my amplifier board receives the audio signal), but I don't know if it would be a good practice.
I know I would have to take care what cables I would crimp together, because the balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA have its differences... I mean, I'm aware of all the differences of this connections, I just don't know the proper way to implement that, once my solder contacts won't be large enough for that task.
Any help will be very appreciated! Again, sorry for my bad english, but I'm not fluent. If you think it's a little hard to understand what I'm asking here, just say that I'll try to illustrate my problem with Windows Paint, haha!
Peace,
Eduardo Barth.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
Now I'm trying to illustrate my problem!
My amplifier module has 3 faston receptors that were made to receive a balanced signal. I want to use the unbalanced RCA as well, so I need to know if it's possible to crimp the ending of the RCA and XLR wiring together in the same faston connector. In case I can't, what do you suggest?
Any help would be very appreciated!
