I've been using CMF55's and RN55's -- took the opportunity of a snow-storm to put them on the impedance-o-meter along with some Caddocks which I like as power resistors. The surface mount, R0805 49.9 ohm resistor was in a kit-of-parts from Jameco". The resistances have been normalized to 1 ohm:

It demonstrates is that the reactive element of the Caddocks is somewhat capacitative, the CMF55's and R0805 slightly inductive. Probably would be more demonstrative if it were run on an HP4194.
