I'm going to try recoating my Sequel II panels as all other trouble shooting I've done points to failed original coating.
Has a consensus been reached on what is the best method and material specifically recoating the original Mylar?
Yes, I've read all the threads and most seem to either be for other ESLs or issues developed. I'd like to do this once if at all possible.
Any and all suggestions and advice appreciated.
Thanks
Eric

I Second That!!!
I have been using Licron since it First appeared on the market in 2003.
And the Crystal formula in 2010 shortly after it had appeared as well.
There are several other Staticides available but I have never tried any of them because I never needed too.
All of the original panels (that I still have) that I made back in 2003 still work today and still have the original coating and diaphragm that I applied to them back then.
Even after 7 years of environmental abuse they still worked the very first I fired them up.
There are some pictures of what I am talking about here,

I still have both of my original cans too since then, as I have not used them up yet!! 😉
Even after 7 and 11 years later it is still as good as new compared to a fresh can when applied to new recent diaphragms.
I don't think that it even has a rated shelf life as that was one of the questions that I had asked Techspray's tech when I talked to them back in 2003.
FWIW
jer 🙂
