This morning i noticed that one of my 7 year old Flying Mole amps was having problems at loud-ish levels. I opened up the box and sure enough one of the CAPs was swollen.
When it comes to amps i am novice but i'm pretty sure i can replace these without any problems.
Can anyone suggest a good replacement brand for the Nippon Chemi-con 200v 390uFs. that are currently in the amps?
Thanks
Luke.

I did a Digikey search and came up with this:
DigiKey results
This was based on 20mm dia and >=200V @390uF.
All of these are >32mm high.
See if the lead spacing matches...If not...start over with a new search.

Reaplace these with a bit higher voltage cap...as 220,250 even 300volts with same dia.

Thanks DUG and basi I'll check lead spacing tonight and see what i can fit into the Enclosure that is just 41mm high (including the board and mounts.)
Going through it now i think that i am probably going to be limited to this model from digikey.

So So those Caps fit but unfortunately they didn't seem to be the problem. I don't really have the confidence or experience to diagnose and replace all the other caps which appear to be fine, so i'm going to send it to someone to fix for me. Just got to find a great amp service place in Sydney.
