Just curious on which bulb would be best for an LCD projector of our kind (probably will be a 15" LCD, but will experiment with a 8.4 probably)
Thanks,
Cheers,
Alex
P.S. once I settle on which bulb to get, ill contact them about the prices. They are in my area, so I can pickup 🙂

well it allreally matter on the rest of your setup
(correct me if im wrong)
i think the ideal bulb you want is the Double Ended-T. but for this you need a electronic ballast. but reflectors are easier to find and you can use a condenser.
if you are using core and coil go for the T-15 style lamp. easy to find reflector and you can use a condensor, and it is cheap.
you may be able to use PAR-38 style but i havent seen it done yet.
now the BT style lamp is easily found at local stores but it is very big. my 400w one is 11.5 inches. harder to find a reflector and cant use a condensor. and its huge.
if you still want to go cheap than use a E style lamp. they are much smaller than the bt style.
