I am thinking about buyin a new TFT screen for my diy projector. I was first thinking about the BenQ 567 or 557, both s or v2 version. Are both versions equally strippable by the way?
However, if my project fails, i'd like to stick with a 17" 1280x1024 monitor rather than a 15", so i was thinking about the BenQ 767 series, in example the 767-12. Howevers, are these monitors strippable?
I know i'd have to use bigger lenses, but that's only if you also want to yuser the extra space 🙂 And i know, my box will become even bigger, but i am thinking about this.

Not sure about the FP731, but the Fp767 v2 is strippable, there's a small chance you might have to cut out its front control panel buttons(? but not a big deal imho). I remember seeing two people mention using the 767 v2.
The samsung 712n is def strippable as well since i've now seen it mentioned in all the diy forums.
