Hi guys 🙂
I have done a lot of searching, but have not gained enough info as yet 😕
So can anyone post info on mods for this SRC2496, explained as much as possible and photos will help me also.
I'm using it as a up-sampling DAC in my hifi system and am on a very tight budget but want to squeeze as much performance out of it as possible.
I would really like to know how to bypass the output stage so I'm not having those opamps in the circuit, and PSU and other general performance mods are what I'm looking for.
Thanks in advance 🙂

Thanks mate 🙂
I'll have a look at that shortly.
Am I correct thinking that the best option is to go from there to a pair of output transformers of some kind?

Hi
You might glean a little info from Audiosmile in the UK. Google them, they have a Behringer mod product. I am pretty sure they use Lundahl trannies in the output stage.
I have heard the first verson of their work and it does make a big improvement, but the later version is much improved again.
Hope that helps...

Hi data.
Have a look at this. If your French is as rough as mine you'll need to get a translation:
