From what I remember reading, it was advisable to change the very cheap electrolytic capacitors for others of higher voltage and not the smaller.

(((I replaced all the electrolytic capacitors with Panasonic FM:
the +3.3V line now has a 2220uF (C13) before L2 and a 1200uF after (C11)
the +5V line has C14 and C10 replaced with 1200uF
the +9V line has C3 replaced with 2200uF
the +-15V line has 820uF for C4 and C5 and 47uF for C1 and C2
Here is a snapshot of the replacement (Fig. 3)))))
this upgrade is sufficient ?
First, I have not modified any but I have heard several of them in operation (one an installation with 9 speakers and two subwoofers of 18 ").

But I read a lot about it and everyone complained about the poor quality of the power supply, especially the electrolytic capacitors.
You could contact Mauro. Maybe he more things to say.
PS: in those systems I was unable to differentiate between MP3 320kbps vs FLAC 16/44 and 24/96 that I took on my USB to do the tests, unlike what happens in my two audio systems. After which I lost my interest in the Ultracurve.
