I have two dcx 2496. Wanted to replace the one that has the "frying egg" noise with another one while trying to trace the problem.
The new one now does not accept AES/EBU signal when switched accordingly, the old one does - no problem.
What could be the problem? The relay can be heard when switching between analogue and digital input, but no digital signal comes in. The unit works fine in analogue mode.
I'm feeding from a deq 2496.
