It's a nice driver, but it's a pro bass driver, not a sub. You won't get a whole lot below about 40Hz out of it. If that's what you're looking for, though, B&C makes pretty good stuff.

Actually, I believe it's the driver (or a close relative) that Dr Geddes uses in his speaker - a 2 way with a waveguided B&C compression driver crossed at 900-1k. One of the few drivers out there that can do this well, and in that context a good deal as well.
However, that still doesn't make it a sub 🙂
