Dear all,
I am currently thinking about my bathroom. This got me to thinking about DIY audio.
I then stumbled across this great idea to make the bath vibrate to make sound.
It already available as the Kaldewei Sound Wave and that looks great, but I am fancying doing it fully DIY.
Looking at an online video about this speaker system, I noticed that its using and two Visaton exciter ex60s 8 (but maybe 4 Ohm) for €38 each, so I might start with this modest buy and connect it to an amp of mine I have in the cupboard.
Has anyone tried this already? Was you bath Steel of Acrylic? How did it sound?
Best Owen

Great idea but likely would've to be a fibreglass bathtub.
Funny thing, we are renovating a guest bathroom and just bought a new fibreglass bathtub. I bet it would work OK for sound and might even be fun for little kids. But you'd need access to the hidden side or bottom of the tub to install the exciter.
People I know use outdoor/weatherproof Bluetooth speakers in the shower.
