turned on my ballast and i heard a humming for a second but nohting happened so i tried tighting conenctions and turning it back on and nothing... i heard the humming the first time i tried but i didnt hear it when i turned it back on 2 times after... does this mean my ballast is broken or the lamp?
Hmmm sounds like either a dead bulb or ballast to me, the Ice Cap electronic has the ignitor built in. Id say its more then likley the bulb.
