Not building anything but curious nonetheless. This linear bearing are said to be virtually friction less. Coefficient of friction is 0.003. Accuracy is 0.0005" per inch of travel. Would they be worthy of building a linear tonearm ?
Regards.

These have silicon Nitride/Ceramic Bearing with titanium shaft. Self cleaning No lubrication required. Precision made for lens making equipment (I dont know how) Friction is very low. Here is Video Link. I read some place Sealed bearings are also available. But needs to be seen working if they are good candidate for linear tonearm.
Regards.
